The problem
Emma Castellano had built her interior design business under her own name. That made it hard to grow beyond her, into bigger projects and a bigger team.
What we did
We built a new brand, Wilbur Jones, around what makes Emma's work different, with a website and social presence to match.
- Brand built on the work. We defined what sets Emma's work apart, like bringing each client's personality into the space, so the brand rests on that instead of her name.
- Woodmark and palette. A woodmark logo that balances emotion and precision, and a gentle terracotta and lilac palette that frames each project without competing with it.
- Portfolio-led website. Project pages like Galahad lead the Webflow site, and the same brand carries through brochures, posters, tote bags and social ads.
What happened
Wilbur Jones now designs commercial spaces as well as homes, from Roberto's Deli in Emerald Hills to Aesthetica HQ, a cosmetic clinic in Gregory Hills.
Designing space for growth.
Building on that basis, the new brand, Wilbur Jones, is infused with Emma’s sense of craft. The woodmark logo balances both emotion and precision, helping to communicate a sense of elegance in craft, and the gentle palette of the brand serves as relatively neutral, universally-appropriate holding device that allows the unique character of each project to shine through. This continues through to the new Wilbur Jones website and social media presences, each designed to serve as an elegant frame for the striking projects Emma has to share.
With the new brand established, Wilbur Jones serves as a distillation and amplification of everything that makes Emma and her work powerful, while also being an entity that can grow into a brand presence larger than anyone person, establishing itself as a leader in premium transformations of luxury residential, workplace and wellness spaces.
